WORKING WITH ME

Improving at Climbing and achieving your goals presents many challenges. I've faced many of them, and made many mistakes along the way. But every mistake I have made, I’ve learnt from, and it’s made me a stronger, wiser and more consistent climber. I understand the struggles of plateaus, injury, as well as feeling uncertainty in your training and improvement in climbing. Having someone guide you through these problems is in my opinion essential for not only improving, but maintaining a healthy and injury free relationship with climbing.   


Whether it's on the wall Coaching, a written Training Plan or regular Mentoring and advice, I've got a wealth of experience of navigating through improvement in climbing. I've developed an analytical approach to training and development that can avoid many common pitfalls and stumbling blocks. There are no short cuts, but with the right mindset, and the conviction in a plan, you can achieve your goals.

SPECIALIZED SESSIONS & PLANS

£60 - 2 HOUR COACHING SESSION

The Low Hanging Fruit

As a coach, this session is very exciting. When meeting a climber for the first time, it's a thrill to see all of the ways they are able to improve, a lot of the time with only small but conscious effort. 

This session consists of a 15 minute initial chat which is used to get an idea of the clients background, general level and goals for the session. The session will then be tailored to the client, where I will analyse everything from movement and physical attributes through to psychology and tactics. I will provide information and advice during the session, and then provide an outline of key areas of focus for the future. 

£190 - FULL DAY COACHING

Deep Dive

A Full Day's Coaching. 7 Hours. 

Half Day (3.5 hours) - £110

 

During this day, we will look at everything from a full warm up routine, analysing problems, game changing tactics, through to techniques and physical and psychological attributes. I will be constantly feeding back information and trying to improve your experience and success at every opportunity.

This day can be arranged for some great weather at a crag or climbing wall of your choice, or a climbing wall/crag split if you'd prefer. 

​

Once the day is over, we'll sit down and outline the key themes from the day, and provide some clear guidance for improvement in many areas. 

​

This day will be the springboard to go and improve your climbing

£75PCM - MONTHLY TRAINING AND COACHING PLAN

Tailored Plans and Coaching

This isn't a "here's your plan and off you go" situation. 

​

This plan includes:-

​

  • Initial Consultation Call

  • Written Monthly Training Plan

  • Daily contact for any questions/advice feedback on  your climbing through WhatsApp

​

For climbing improvement, I don't believe that a purely physical training plan is sufficient to really improve as an allround climber. I know that without the tactics, the mental game and all the little tricks that go along with them, I wouldn't be the climber I am today. I believe in a more rounded approach to the training/coaching/mentoring process which includes regular contact, lots of information and regular problem solving to navigate to success in climbing. Climbing provides many bumps in the road, and having a constant source of information to get over those bumps is invaluable.

That's what this plan is all about.

Finding the Flaws

This session is designed to either be undertaken before a training and mentoring plan, or as a standalone session. The goal of the session is to try and understand where your greatest improvements can be made, what is most holding you back and what the key areas of improvement should be in the future. We will try and understand what has lead you to where you are, and what the quickest route to improvement is.

£195PCM - Apex Premium Plan

The Apex Plan is aimed at the most motivated and dedicated climbers out there. If you’re throwing everything and the kitchen sink at your climbing, and trying to send your hardest whether at home or on a trip, this service is designed to get you there.

 

The service is designed for me to fully get to know and build a strong relationship with you. Through regular communication, I’m able to fully understand your strengths and weaknesses, and together we will discuss and put strategies in place to level up your climbing, in all areas.
