Early on in climbing I began to get interested in the filmmaking process. I became excited to document the experience of a trip, or to really show a climb in as much detail as possible. Below I've put some of my favourite pieces I've made. If they inspire or motivate just one person, I'll be happy!
World Class Wales
Over the course of 2015 I filmed and edited this film with the aim of trying to showcase some of North Wales' best Bouldering. This 30 minute video shows a bit of everything that Bouldering in the hills should be! Hope you enjoy.
Special 6 - Fontainebleau Bouldering
Perhaps one of my favourite videos, from one of my favourite trips, in one of my favourite places. 5 weeks in Fontainebleau is something I was so fortunate to experience. I learnt a huge amount on this trip, not only about how to climb in Font, but also about how to approach climbing and shooting video together. Selfishly, most climbing videos I make are for myself and friends to look back on, and this one I still watch from time to time to remember what a great trip it was. Get yourself to Font!
Rocklands Bouldering
South Africa was always right at the top of my list for places I wanted to visit. In 2017 I was lucky enough to visit and climb some of the problems I'd seen and watched videos of for years. So I was excited to create my own video to remember the trip. This trip still stands out as one of my biggest overall experiences to date, and one I'll not forget in a hurry.
